Media Matters writes that most TV meteorologists recognize that climate change is real, though Fox News is misleading on the subject.
In April, George Mason University published a national survey of TV weathercasters in partnership with the American Meteorological Society, Climate Central, NASA, NOAA, and Yale University.
According to their website, the purpose of the survey was to assess weathercasters’ views on climate change and their interests and activities in reporting on the local impacts of climate change.

I would like someone to ask each of them, on what do you base your beliefs?
Then we could find out if they have any scientific basis for their stance.
OK, but perhaps we should also ask NASA on what they base their beliefs…
Be sure to check out the NASA wabsite on climate change:

I think you will find that NASA information is designed to educate the public in the theories of global warming. A bit of selective information about which I do not have time to elaborate.
Just spent hours on comments in reblogging a WUWT post. Too much to learn and not enough time! If you want information as distinct from propaganda, spend some time at WUWT http://wattsupwiththat.com/
or at my blog http://tgrule.com

Just noticed one of the NASA claims debunked: (GT + 1,4 DegF since 1880 )

Clive Best has a new post up showing the changes in land temperatures over some time in the NCDC’s GHCN database (used by everyone producing surface temperature data).
GHCN V1 Raw land temp increase from 1880 extended to 2014 about 0.65C.
New adjusted GHCN V3 land temp increase from 1880 to 2014 about 1.2C.
http://clivebest.com/blog/?p=6572
Without calculating, 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit sounds about equal to .65 degrees Celsius.
1.2 degrees Celsius is definitely even more than 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
Comparing degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius is apples and oranges.
This is what I submitted:
GHCN V1 Raw land temp increase from 1880 extended to 2014 about 0.65C.
New adjusted GHCN V3 land temp increase from 1880 to 2014 about 1.2C.”
What on earth are you talking about?
You compared those increases (both in degrees Celsius) to NASA’s increase (since 1880) of 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
I am comparing 2 figures, both in degC showing how an increase of 1.2 is due to adjustment when it should have been 0.65. Therefore NASA’s claim of 1.4degF also has the approx 100% exaggeration due to changing past records.
In other words, they cheat! Suggest therefore that you don’t rely on them as a source.
That’s all I am trying to say.
At least you admit that the earth is warming somewhat, by .65 degrees C.
NOAA states: “Effective May 2, 2011, the Global Historical Climatology Network-Monthly (GHCN-M) version 3 dataset of monthly mean temperature has replaced GHCN-M version 2 as the dataset for operational climate monitoring activities.”
I think that V3 replaced V2 (and V1). The most accurate, up-to-date numbers are the V3 numbers. So, 1.2 would be more accurate.
Either way, you can’t compare the V3 or V1 numbers you list with NASA’s numbers, because they are not in degrees Fahrenheit.
NASA’s number is 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit. I don’t have time to convert them all to Fahrenheit. Let me know if you do.
