Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh told his listeners that if the government removes the Confederate battle flag from public places, the American flag may be next.
“The American flag has flown over a slave nation much longer than the Confederate flag did, folks. The American flag has flown over all kinds of atrocities,” Limbaugh told his listeners, according to Politico.
He called the Confederate flag situation an “all-out assault on what the left thinks is a last remaining enclave of solid Republican voters, and that is the South.”
Was Limbaugh just proselytizing? Still no sign of getting rid of the American flag.
Majority Report discusses it.
