With another primetime win, NBC will feeling pretty good today. Having topped Sunday and Monday, the Comcast-owned network won Tuesday with a 2.1/7 rating and 9.21 million viewers based on strong performances from America’s Got Talent (2.5/9) and Hollywood Game Night (1.5/5).
Not only was the former the top rated and most watched (11.18 million) show of the night, but AGT saw a 14% rise among adults 18-49 from its August 4 show. That night saw competition, such as it was, from the CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock on ABC. If AGT had a good night, then lead-out HGN had a great night with 36% rocket upwards among the key demo.
