Is Wells Fargo Being Targeted For Having ‘Pro-LGBT’ Beliefs?

Last month, Wells Fargo began airing a one-minute commercial featuring two lesbians adopting a little girl. In response, Televangelist Franklin Graham (son of the late Billy Graham) announced last week that the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse would be finding another bank, according to USA Today.

In a Facebook post, Graham cited the “tide of moral decay that is being crammed down our throats by big business, the media, and the gay (and) lesbian community.”

His post also “called out” jeweler Tiffany & Co. for advertising wedding rings for same-sex couples.

Also, the Christian group The American Family Association (AFA) has sent an “Action Alert” to its hundreds of thousands of friends and supporters, urging Christians to close their Wells Fargo accounts, due to the institution’s support of the LGBT lifestyle, writes charismanews.com.

“For years, Wells Fargo has supported a lifestyle that is not in line with biblical standards, so now it’s time for Christians to pull their business from the bank,” said AFA President Tim Wildmon.

“Franklin Graham said it best. Banks should focus on interest rates and charges, rather than moral and social issues. AFA wholeheartedly agrees, and is calling on Christians to stand for God’s truth with action.”

In its alert, AFA reminded readers that in 2003, AFA warned that Wells Fargo was beginning to show public support for homosexuality—one of the first companies in America to do so. In 2005, Dr. James Dobson and Focus on the Family announced it was withdrawing funds from Wells Fargo after the company threw its support behind homosexual activist organizations.

According to AFA’s alert, “Wells Fargo’s history follows a pattern that it has not wavered from. Over the past few years, Wells Fargo has marched in scores of ‘Gay Pride Parades,’ advertised monthly in gay magazines and websites, and has endorsed ‘Gay Pride Month.'” Wells Fargo has also earned the Human Rights Campaign’s highest award for 13 years in a row, states charismanews.com.

Hateful Pastor Hopes Caitlyn Jenner Dies

Secular Talk

Arizona pastor Steven Anderon said he prayed for God to kill Caitlyn Jenner.  He explained to his congregation at Faithful Word Baptist Church that it was not wrong to pray for the deaths of your enemies, including, apparently, transvestite Caitlyn (previously Bruce) Jenner.

Last year, Anderson (of the Faithful Word Baptist Church) predicted an “AIDS-free Christmas” if all LGBT people were put to death.

Hilarious: Nebraska Woman Files Lawsuit Against All Gay People

TYT Network

A Christian Nebraska woman last week filed a lawsuit against the entire group of “homosexuals” in America, in her role as Ambassador for the plaintiffs, namely, “God, and His, Son, Jesus Christ,” states thenewcivilrightsmovement.com.

However, per the Omaha World-Herald, as of recently, a judge decided not to hear the case.

Sylvia Driskell, 66, filed her seven-page handwritten lawsuit in the “United State District Court of Omaha,” asking the federal court to determine, “Is Homosexuality a sin, or not a sin.”

The lawsuit quotes Leviticus, “God tells his children in Leviticus Chapter 18 verse 22. Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind. It is ambomination.” And also Romans I, and “Jenesis.” And it concludes with these time-honored questions, such as:

“Why are judges passing laws, so sinners can break religious and moral laws?

“Will all the judges of this Nation, judge God to be a lier (sic)?

“For God has said; that all unrighteousness is sin, and that homosexuality is abomination”

TYT On Bruce Jenner / Diane Sawyer Interview On 20/20

TYT Network

After weeks of mysterious promos, the Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner revealed he was becoming a woman with Daine Sawyer of ABC News. Close to 17 million people tuned in for the broadcast on Friday.

(At this time, Bruce Jenner has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise, states E! online.)

Bruce Jenner “won a lot of people over” in the transgender community, claims E! Online.

“He’s just such a lovable charachter,” said transgender model Andreja Pejic.

The Huffington Post states that there was something different about the interview.

“There was none of the sensationalism of Piers Morgan’s 2014 interview with trans activist and writer Janet Mock, whom Morgan insisted ‘was a boy until 18’ and ‘formerly a man,'” writes the Post.

“ABC’s 20/20 provided important context at key moments, including several discussions about trans people and pronoun choice. And the show tackled the big-picture issues facing the community, including the high rate of suicide in the community and lack of anti-discrimination protections, which allow transgender people to be fired for their gender identity in 32 states,” writes The Huffington Post.

Tuesday: Supreme Court To Hear Arguments On Gay Marriage

Chief Justice John Roberts, who shocked conservatives nearly three years ago by providing a pivotal vote to uphold Obamacare, will again face a historic judicial decision, states CNN.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in a case that could decide whether gay and lesbian couples nationwide have the constitutional right to marry.  The question at the core of the Obergefell v. Hodges case is very important, and is one that is already helping to shape the 2016 presidential race.

Is Governor Bobby Jindal Creating A ‘Litmus Test’ For Conservatives?

Bobby Jindal

Goveror Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, in an op-ed Thursday in the New York Times writes why multiple corporations have expressed opposition to religious freedom laws that frighten gay-rights advocates.

Those corporations, Jindal says, are being manipulated by left-wing radicals.

“Liberals have decided that if they can’t win at the ballot box,” Jindal writes, “they will win in the boardroom.”

“His point is obvious,” writes nola.com.   “These corporations wouldn’t be taking such a wild and crazy position if they were really controlled by conservatives. Ergo, Big Business must have been taken over by liberals.”

Not only is Jindal suggesting in his op-ed that the gay rights and conservatism are incompatible, and that liberals have taken over the country’s boardrooms, but he’s also revealing some peculiar ideas about the free market.

For example, don’t business leaders have the right to take whatever positions they think will advance their business? Won’t businesses be “punished” for making the “wrong” decisions on gay marriage?

Nola.com makes the point that Governor Jindal seems to be creating a “litmus test” for conservatives.

After criticizing those liberals who he says have taken over the country’s boardrooms and made them hostile to religion and overly zealous about gay rights, Jindal says that “it’s time for corporate America to make a decision.”

Will gay marriage (or “anti-gay marriage”) be a “litmus test” for the Republican party?
