Right-Wing Pundit Bill Kristol: Walker In ‘Spring Training’ In Regards To Foreign Policy

In a Politico report on Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s foreign policy, The Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol called the governor “in spring training” on the subject.

Walker broke away from the GOP 2016 scrum two months ago but alarmed Republican donors and establishment leaders when he spoke like a novice on foreign policy, states MediaITE.  Walker claimed his successful battle against public sector unions had given him the ability to stand up to ISIS, and he said that Ronald Reagan’s breaking of the Air Traffic Controller’s Union was the most significant foreign policy decision of his lifetime.

President Obama also took a swing at him, telling Walker to “bone up” on his foreign policy.

That is what Walker has apparently been doing by surrounding himself with Republican foreign policy experts and cramming.

Here is the right-wing pundit Kristol’s quote on Walker:

“In spring training – especially when a player is learning a new position – you want to see basic talent, hard work and real improvement,” said Kristol to Politico. “In Scott Walker’s case, so far we’ve seen all three.”

Louie Gohmert Wants To Bomb Iran

Secular Talk

Make no mistake, the politicians who are in power make a difference. If right-wing Representative Louie Gohmert were president, we would soon be bombing Iran.

Lindsey Graham: I Fear Iran More Than ISIS | Meet The Press | NBC News

Does anyone ever think that who is president doesn’t matter?

It is certainly fashionable in Europe to claim that the two main parties in the U.S. are the same.

But while Democrat Barack Obama has decreased troop levels throughout the Middle East, South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham showed that he would have no qualms with attacking and invading Iran.

The potential 2016 presidential candidate said on Sunday he fears Iran more than the terror group ISIS.

“Absolutely,” he said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “It’s not even close.”

“They’re an evil regime,” he said. “A cold-blooded regime.”

The Obama administration is currently participating in the P5+1 discussions with Iran to limit the country’s nuclear program. The P5+1 includes China, Russia, the United States, Britain, France, and Germany. P5+1 is in reference to the permanent five members of the UN Security Council plus Germany. These countries are negotiating with Iran.

Republicans have roundly denounced a potential deal that would allow Tehran to maintain some nuclear capabilities for civilian purposes. In fact, reacently, 47 Republicans bypassed the president and sent a letter to the head of the Iranian government stating that they apparently won’t honor the deal after Obama leaves office.

The letter sent to Iran was written by freshman Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton and co-signed by 46 of his GOP colleagues, including Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Obama, at a White House photo opportunity Monday, said he is proceeding with negotiations. “I think it’s somewhat ironic to see some members of Congress wanting to make common cause with the hard-liners in Iran,” he said. “It’s an unusual coalition.”

“No deal is better than a bad deal,” Graham said in his talk with Chuck Todd on Meet The Press, saying the exact words said by Bibi Netanyahu.

‘Agenda 21’ Bill Rejected In Montana

An Agenda 21 bill was rejected in Montana by lawmakers this week, according to The Inquisitr.

For years, critics of “Agenda 21” have seen it as evil, ranging from bad policy to an erosion of national sovereignty to a sign of one-world totalitarian government grounded in radical principles of environmentalism and socialism, according to KXLF.com.

Wikipedia:

“The United States is a signatory country to Agenda 21, but because Agenda 21 is a legally non-binding statement of intent and not a treaty, the United States Senate was not required to hold a formal debate or vote on it. It is therefore not considered to be law under Article Six of the United States Constitution.

According to NBCmontana.com:  “Agenda 21 is a non-binding resolution, signed by Republican President George H.W. Bush in 1992, urging nations to conserve open land and steer development toward more populous areas. Some conservatives across the country see Agenda 21 as an indication of a United Nations takeover.”

The Montana Agenda 21 bill was sponsored by Sun River Republican Randy Pinocci.

It failed with a vote of 59 to 41. Representative Pinocci reportedly feels that the anti-Agenda 21 bill would have protected Montana residents’ property rights and would have rejected the United Nations sustainable development initiative.

Those who voted in opposition to the Agenda 21 bill in Montana largely felt that the U.N. sustainable development plan is merely a “list of recommendations regarding smart growth.”

They added that no citizens have yet come forward to complain that the plan has been pushed upon them or caused them problems at the local level.

Previously, Missouri and Kansas actually passed legislation regarding Agenda 21:

Are Celebrity Photos Edited?

TYT Network

“The public is poring over another untouched photo of a famous woman, taking in both her conventional beauty and the wrinkles, cellulite and other imperfections that are routinely erased,” according to Mashable.

“The subject is Cindy Crawford, the 48-year-old model who posed for a December 2013 cover story for the Mexico and Latin America edition of Marie Claire.”

Mashable:

“The photo sparked a series of think pieces about women, aging and the unforgiving spotlight of fame. This time social media feedback skewed more positive.

The Guardian gives its view of the spectacle:

“But demanding that women bear the brunt of subverting beauty standards by laying themselves bare is a cruel – and maybe even anti-feminist – way of addressing the issue.”

Man Beats Wife On Wedding Night After He Couldn’t Get Her Dress Off

After a delightful ceremony in St. Mary’s Church in the village of West Rainton in County Durham, England, the reception for Amy Dawson and her new husband, her long-term partner and father of her child, Gavin Golightly, in nearby Beamish Hall was full of love and laughter.

Then, at 12:55 a.m. the following morning, the newlyweds decided to retire to bed and Dawson asked Golightly to help take off her wedding dress.

Instead, he attacked her and she thought she was going to die.

“The defendant (Golightly) then tried to undo Ms. Dawson’s dress. She received a crochet (to undo the dress with), but the defendant then refused to undo his new wife’s dress,” prosecutor Sarah Traynor told Peterlee Magistrates Court, the Sunderland Echo reported.

“The defendant then jumped up from his chair, approached Ms. Dawson and pushed her over.

“He then sat on top of her and started punching her with clenched fists. He then got up and left the room. It appears that the defendant then came back to the room.”

Dawson received a cut above her left eye and bruises to her face and chest.

“When I first met Gavin, he was lovely, I couldn’t fault him,” Dawson told the Sunderland Echo.  “He was caring and loving, and when we found we were having a baby, we were delighted…I fell pregnant after eight months, but almost straightaway, Gavin became controlling and manipulative. It was like walking on eggshells.

“When he lashed out at me on my wedding night, I thought I was going to die. I was terrified. He looked like he was going to kill me.”

Golightly said his drinks must have been spiked before the assault and he could not remember the incident. However, Golightly, a tattoo artist, pleaded guilty to a single count of assault causing actual bodily harm.

He was given a two-year community order, and a restraining order stopping him from contacting Dawson directly or indirectly was imposed. He was also ordered to pay Dawson compensation.

Dawson, an accounting student, has filed for divorce.

Fox News’ Kennedy Montgomery: If Climate Change Is More Dangerous Than Terrorism, ‘You Would Vomit All Over The White House’

The right wing has taken up some confusing positions on the murder of Kayla Mueller by ISIS. They have nearly praised it (due to her anti-Zionist beliefs). At the same time, they use her murder to complain that the White House isn’t doing enough against ISIS.

Recently, Fox News’ Kennedy Montgomery said that “If you’re Kayla Mueller’s family and you hear the president say that climate change is more dangerous than terrorism, you would vomit all over the White House…”
