Did Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Have A Domestic Dispute With His Ex-Wife?

Gawker reports that it has secured partial transcripts from the custody trial of Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly in regards to the dispute with his ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy.

The documents, which record testimony given last year, confirm that the ex-couple’s teenage daughter told a court-appointed forensic examiner that she witnessed O’Reilly “choking her mom” as he “dragged her down some stairs” by the neck.

The same transcripts also reveal that O’Reilly told his daughter that her mother is an “adulterer”; that he struggles to control his rage around his family; and that his daughter regards him as an absentee father.

News magazine AJ+ looks at it.

Heroic Boy, 14, Stops Runaway School Bus After Classmate Hit Driver And Knocked Her Unconscious

Sneak attack: A 26-year-old woman was driving a school bus filled with a half-dozen students from an alternative school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, when one of them came up behind her and punched her in the head

A 14-year-old Louisiana boy is being hailed as a hero for stopping an out-of-control school bus filled with high school students after a classmate knocked the driver unconscious, according to the Daily Mail.

The 15-year-old suspect has been charged with assault for attacking the 26-year-old driver in Baton Rouge Thursday as she was dropping off about a half-dozen students from Christa McAuliffe Superintendent’s Academy.  The academy is an alternative school for teens with disciplinary problems.

Police and school officials say the female driver had stopped the bus at around 3pm at Linden Street to exchange words with the disruptive student.

According to the driver, when she turned away to face the road, the 15-year-old walked up behind her and punched the woman several times in the head until she passed out.

She then lost consciousness, her hands and feet slipped from the wheel and the brakes, and the bus started moving again.

That is when Tay’veon Slaughter, 14, jumped into action.

The quick-thinking eighth-grader slammed his foot on the breaks to stop the bus from crashing and called 911.

‘I knew I had to stop the bus because, you know, she’s not responding,’ he told the station WAFB, referring to the driver. ‘The bus was speeding up. So I knew if we get into a wreck, all of us would have been hurt.’

The 15-year-old suspect in the attack fled the bus before police responded to the scene.  Later that day, the teenager’s mother turned him in to police. The suspect was arrested on charges of battery of a bus operator, aggravated obstruction of a roadway and second-degree battery.

School officials say the 15-year-old has been suspended pending a disciplinary hearing and could face expulsion.

When the driver of the bus woke up, she did know she had been attacked and that her face was swollen.

The injured driver was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injures. She has since been released to continue her recovery at home.

Slaughter said that before the attack on the driver, the 15-year-old was throwing things out the widow and spitting at passing cars. The boy reportedly became upset when the driver asked him to stop and sit down.

When the 26-year-old woman regained consciousness, Slaughter said she did not know she had been punched.

‘She didn’t know that her face was swollen,’ the boy recalled to the New Orleans Advocate.

Averil Sanders, principal of Christa McAuliffe Superintendent’s Academy, said he was proud of Tay’veon for stepping up to the plate in an emergency situation.

Unregistered Taxi Driver Sexually Assaulted Woman And Demanded £50 Fare To Take Her Home

A university student is warning others against using unregistered taxis in England after she fell victim to a predatory cab driver who sexually assaulted her.

Lily Wright, 22, from Birmingham has waived her right to anonymity to share her terrifying experience and to urge others not to take unlicensed cabs.

Lily and her friend Jamielee Smalldon, 21, had flagged down a taxi, driven by Mohammed Iqbal – a father of three – following a night out in Birmingham.

After dropping Jamielee at her house, Iqbal drove Lily to a secluded wooded area and sexually assaulted her, according to the U.K Daily Mail.

He then drove her home – after he ordered her to pay him £50 for the return fare.  “It was disgusting and I was convinced he was going to kill me.”  “After what he’d just done to me, I couldn’t believe he had the nerve to charge me,” she said, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Iqbal first pleaded not guilty to two separate sex attacks – one on Lily, and another on a second woman at another time.  He later changed his plea to guilty.

“The next day police revealed the court had presented the evidence, and my attacker had changed his plea to guilty to two counts of sexual assault and one count of kidnap,” said Wright.

“I believe women should trust taxi drivers, and take a taxi rather than walking home alone at night,” says Wright.  “But they should book a registered taxi rather than waving one down in the street,” she said.  “You’re putting your safety in their hands. And I learnt my lesson the hard way.”

Palin Family: No Charges Filed Yet

Sarah Palin and Family Reportedly Involved in Brawl at Party

It seems that no charges have yet been filed against the Palin family or others in the backwoods altercation at a snowmobile party in Anchorage, Alaska, on Sept. 6.

“[Bristol] was punching [another man] in the face like six times; it was an assault if I’ve ever seen one,” Eric Thompson, a guest at the celebration, told ABC News, adding, “It wasn’t a light punch either. She was really hitting him.”

The Washington Post reports that the Palins arrived at the house party in a stretch Hummer limousine, and “it wasn’t long after that things started going horribly wrong,” one guest tells Alaska political blogger Amanda Coyne.

Guests told Coyne that the melee began when the former vice presidential candidate’s eldest son, Track, 25, allegedly confronted his sister Willow’s ex-boyfriend, who was a guest at the shindig. When the host of the party, Korey Klingenmeyer, tried to break up the skirmish, Thompson told Coyne that 23-year-old Bristol “stood straight up, brought her arm back and cold-cocked him right in the face.”

Another guest claims the former governor was shouting profanities and “nearly crawling on top of people” to get into the fight.

Guests reportedly hear Sarah scream, “Don’t you know who I am?” to which someone in the crowd replied, “This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!”

By the time the Palins climbed back into their limo, sources told the Washington Post that Track had lost a tooth and the Palin family patriarch, Todd – who was celebrating his 50th birthday that day and, according to The New York Times, was also said to have gotten involved in the skirmish – was bleeding from the nose.

Police were called to the scene, and the Anchorage Police Department said in a statement to the Times that “alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident” and the investigation was continuing. Although no charges have been filed yet, the police department’s communications director Jennifer Castro confirms to The Immoral Minority blog that the case is currently “under investigation.”

The Palin family is not commenting on the widespread reports of the fight but in a Facebook message the day after the alleged altercation Sarah said she was posting her husband’s birthday greeting a day late because she’d been “traveling” on Saturday, the day of the party.

Misogynist Prostitute Beating

One of two brothers who savagely beat a prostitute was sentenced to more than 23 years in prison Thursday in Grand Rapids, Michigan for an assault in late May.

Peter James Versluys will serve between 23 and 50 years for armed robbery and first-degree criminal sexual conduct causing injury. Kent County Circuit Court Judge Dennis Leiber also slapped him with a 6- to 15-year term for savagely beating the victim after he and his twin brother had sex with her. The sentences will run concurrent.

During sentencing Thursday,Versluys said he had been drinking and was high on LSD during the attack.

His brother, Michael Versluys, opted to take his chances before a jury in October.

The 29-year-old twins had just finished a sexual engagement with the woman when Peter held her down and Michael pummeled her in the head with a club as she begged for her life, according to court testimony.

The assault ended with the brothers ripping off the woman’s pants trying to get money out of her pockets.

The May 26 assault left the victim disfigured; she suffered nine broken bones. Doctors used metal pins and screws to fuse her bones and pieced her scalp together with eight surgical staples. She was hospitalized several days in serious condition.

She was left to die in an abandoned home.  She said she managed to walk out in a blanket and seek help at a nearby store.

Peter Versluys was on probation for passing bad checks in Ottawa County when the assault occurred.

Prison records show that he has six tattoos. A chest tattoo reads “kill ’em all.”
