Seacrest: Jenner Told Kids About Gender Transition With Cameras Rolling

Ryan Seacrest was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, May 4, and talked all things Bruce Jenner and Kardashian.

The host of American Idol, who is also an executive producer for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, talked to Kimmel about the show’s upcoming special episodes. The reality series will devote two installments to Bruce, 65, and his talked-about transition from male to female.

“So there are two extra episodes that will air within the season coming up this month,” Seacrest explains. “It’s Bruce basically talking to the family and telling the family what he’s been going through and what he is going to go through for the first time.”

Us reported in March that Bruce sat the women down and had a “very matter-of-fact” chat with them while cameras rolled.

“He’s been doing it for so many years with the camera in the room,” the radio host said. “So this is just, this is his story to them… There are times when we have one person in a room and you don’t really feel like there is a camera there.”
